Meniscopathy

The arthrosis of the knee or gonarthrosis is one of the more frequent degenerative pathologies. It can develop spontaneously or subsequently to articular traumas or primitive pathologies. The secondary damages to this pathology are particularly those of the meniscus and the cartilaginous ones.

The place of the lesion is, in the majority of cases, back capsule-mural and in the majority of the cases it concerns the medial meniscus.

With the passing of time, the fibres that constitute the meniscus go towards degeneration and loss of elasticity and they turn into a real meniscopathy.
